    Philosophy, BS - Western Philosophy Concentration

    Program Information:
    The Bachelor of Arts in philosophy majors take several general requirements, including a foreign language through FL 2002 and a three-hour senior seminar. The program allows selection of one of three concentrations: Western Philosophy, Non-western Philosophy, and Ethics/Social and Political Philosophy.

    This is a suggested 4-year schedule of courses based on the Philosophy - Western Philosophy Concentration degree requirements and course prerequisites in the Fall 2017 Undergraduate Catalog. (If course prerequisites change, you must meet the prerequisites in effect when you take the course, so always check the current Catalog for course prerequisites.) 

    Milestones:

    1. Must earn a grade of "C" or better in coursework.
    2. Not all courses are offered every semester.

    4. Some minors require 18 semester credit hours.
